If you’ve been thinking about visiting The Gresham and would also like to see some stunning street art, then there would be no better time to visit than during the Bring The Paint festival this May.
Leicester will once again be welcoming the art festival for its third instalment in the city this May 23rd-29th. The festival’s line-up boasts over 50 of some of the most recognised international, national and local artists including BOND, INKIE, SMASH, and more!
Artists will be coming together across the city to create over 45 large-scale artworks…but that’s not all! The festival incorporates multiple different creative and innovative media forms, exhibitions and activities - highlighting the melting pot of culture in the industry with artists from America, Australia, Germany, Italy, France and of course the UK.
Bringing 10,000 visitors to the city centre over 6 days, the festival will encompass an exciting range of activities and exciting art works. Visitors can get involved in exhibitions, workshops, music, street art tours, live broadcasts, food & drink offerings, and other family friendly activities!
And if all that wasn’t enough, artists will be working with progressive media forms such as spectacular 3D floor art and latest large scale interactive AR technology - bringing never before seen art and culture to the streets and people of Leicester.
Leicester is internationally known as a hub of culture, diversity and creativity, playing on this - the festival will be built around the film of bringing together a mix of diverse artists with wildly different backgrounds to create art at its finest.
The iconic festival having a platform in Leicester would not be possible without support from partners including Arts Council England, BID Leicester, Leicester City Council, De Montfort University, and The Gresham.
Artistic Director of Bring The Paint, Izzy Hoskins said,
